Scarves & Snoods

Snoods were traditionally ornamental hairnets or decorative fabric bags worn over the back of the hair by ladies. Now snoods for women or for men are tubular scarves worn around the neck. They are also called circular scarves and are as much worn for decorative purposes as for warmth. They are versatile and can be pulled up over the head and worn as a hood.

Snoods are available in a large variety of styles and materials. They are often worn instead of ladies scarves, so they are usually bought to match outfits. This type of material is often crushed or pleated to give it volume or simply because of what is fashionable that season.
